William J. McKinny, 1st Lieutenant  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age thirty-five. Became Company Captain on Sept. 20 1861, after death of  J.M. Collinsworth. Wounded at Battle of Shiloh. Re-appointed company Captain on April 16 1862. On detached service, Dec. 20 1862 at Kingston Al. Surrendered with Army of Tennessee on April 26 1865. Paroled, Greensboro NC., May 1 1865   

Robert J. Williams, 2nd Lieutenant  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age twenty. Resigned & discharged at New Madrid Missouri, Aug. 1861, due to poor health.

Ed. Smith, Brevet 2nd Lieutenant  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age nineteen. Elected 2nd Lieutenant, Sept. 21 1861.   

John B. Arnold  Enlisted at Camp Fair, Jackson TN, May 23 1861, as 1st Sergeant, age thirty-four. Severely wounded in ankle at Battle of Shiloh. Permanently disabled & sent home.

John W. Matthews, 2nd Sergeant  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age thirty-three. Succeeded R.J. Williams as 2nd Lieutenant on Aug. 31 1861. Replaced W.J. McKinney as 1st Lieutenant when McKinney was elected company Captain on Sept. 20 1861. Wounded at Battle of Shiloh. Dettached to General Johnston, May 10 1864, near Jonesboro Ga.

Abram J. Mason, 3rd Sergeant  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age twenty-two.

John Wesley White, 4th Sergeant  Born May 21 1837 Maury County Tennessee. Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age twenty-four. Detached to Pioneer Corp. on Aug. 10 or 12 1862. Permanently detached to Pioneer Corp. Detailed to Miners and Sappers, April 18 1862. Received thirty day furlough on April 3 1864 and returned. Wounded in knee at Battle of Peach Tree Creek July 1864. Discharged December 3 1864 at expiration of his enlistment. Applied for Confederate Pension # AO7747 as resident of Florida. Died January 13 1917 in St. Petersburg Florida.  Buried in Greenwood Cemetery St. Petersburg Florida.

J.C.K. Carter, 1st Corporal  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age twenty-three. Killed in action, Battle of Shiloh, April 6 1862.

William L. Herron  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861. Promoted to 2nd Corporal on May 8 1862. Promoted to 2nd Sergeant, July 23 1862. Detailed for hospital duty at Empire Hospital Atlanta Ga. as nurse in Fall of 1863. Assistant steward at Empire Hospital, Atlanta, starting about Jan. 1864. 

John W. Ballentine  Enlisted at Camp Fair, Jackson TN, May 23 1861, as Corporal. Wounded at Battle of Shiloh, April 6 1862. Captured at Fort Pillow TN, July 1863. POW Camp Douglas IL. Aug. 1863. Oath of Allegiance, sent home May 3 1865. Complexion fair, eyes grey, hair auburn. Height 5' 8".

Henry Burnett  Enlisted as a Private, Oct. 15 1862, Columbus Ky. Wounded at Shiloh, April 6 1862. Elected 2nd Lieutenant, Dec. 4 1862. Promoted to 1st Lt. Became company commander in the Fall of 1863. POW, paroled May 1865. 

Benjamin Carter  Enlisted at Chattanooga TN, Aug. 15 1861. Promoted to 5th Sergeant, Aug. 15 1861. Discharged November 1862.

Christopher M. Carter  Enlisted at Camp Fair May 23 1861, at age twenty. Promoted to 2nd Corporal, April 16 1862. Promoted to 2nd Lieutenant, May 8 1862. Killed in action, Battle of Perryville, Oct. 8 1862.

Benjamin F. Casey  Enlisted Sept. 25 1861 at Columbus Ky.

William J. Casey  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age twenty-one. Promoted to 3rd Sergeant, July 1862. Severely wounded in knee at Battle of Perryville. POW, Paroled at Harrodsburg Ky, between Dec. 28 1862 & Jan. 9 1863. Applied for Confederate pension in Texas.

Benjamin F. Collinsworth  Born Dec. 29 1837. Younger brother of J.M. Collinsworth. Enlisted August 2 1861 at Holly Springs MS. Promoted to 1st Sergeant August 2 1862, at Chattanooga TN. Severely wounded by gunshot to right groin & captured at Chaplin Hills Ky. Died of his wounds at Confederate Hospital, Perryville KY. Oct. 28 1862. His father brought his body back, by wagon, for burial in their family cemetery, Crockett County, TN. 

William E. Copeland  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age nineteen. Promoted from 2nd Sergeant to 1st Lieutenant, May 8 1862. Sent to hospital at Atlanta, Nov. 28 1863. Slightly wounded at Battle of Perryville. Wounded at Atlanta, July 22 1864.

Robert Henry Cox  Born Northampton County N.C. Aug. 30 1837. Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age twenty-three. Promoted to 1st Sergeant, Oct. 12 1862. Promoted to Orderly Sergeant, Jan. 20 1863. Paroled at Greensboro NC, May 1 1865. Died Aug. 5 1882. His widow applied for Confederate Pension, # W599, Crockett County TN.

William E. Cox  Enlisted at Camp Fair, Jackson TN, May 23 1861, at age seventeen. Promoted to 1st Corporal, May 8 1862. Slightly wounded at Battle of Perryville. Sent to hospital, Jan. 18 1863. Died at hospital in Chattanooga TN, March 22 1863. 

Newton Cozart  Enlisted at Camp Fair, Jackson TN, May 23 1861, at age eighteen. Transferred from Company I to A in summer of 1863. Killed while in service.  

Rufus H. Duffy  Enlisted at Camp Fair, Jackson TN, May 23 1861, at age twenty-one. Sent home sick from Corinth MS, May 15 1862.

J.A.A. Dungan  Enlisted March 12 1862, Humboldt TN, in the 47th TN. Infantry, Company F. Transferred  to Company I, 6th TN Infantry on Aug. 1 1863. Killed in action, Battle of Chickamauga. Rank, Corporal.

William A. Dungan  Enlisted Oct. 15 1862, Columbus Ky. Wounded at the Battle of Chickamauga & sent to hospital Sept. 19 1863. Returned from hospital Dec. 30 1863. Surrendered with Army of Tennessee on April 26 1865 in NC, rank 2nd Sergeant. Paroled May 1 1865, Greensboro NC.

Francis M. Griffin  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age twenty-one. Sent home sick from Corinth MS about May 20 1862. Captured near Marietta Ga.on July 3 1864. POW, Nashville TN. Received at military prison, Louisville Ky. in July 1864. Sent to Camp Morton prison camp on July 13 1864. Enlisted in U.S. service at Camp Morton on March 22 1865.Transferred from Company I to K.

Valentine Holyfield  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age twenty-nine. Promoted to 5th Sergeant on May 8 1862. Died in hospital at Atlanta Ga.,   August 2 1862. 

Thomas P. Hudgings  Born in Virginia. Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age forty-one. Listed as Teamster from Oct. 18 1861-Nov. 1 1861. Discharged under the Confederate Conscript Act for being over-age at Tupelo MS on July 22 1862. Height 6' 0", eyes blue.

S.S.B. McCrory  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age nineteen. Detached for Provost Guard duty, Rome Ga., April - Aug. 1863. Detailed as nurse in hospital Jan. - April 1864. POW, paroled at Brownsville TN. May 31 1865.  

William C. McCullough  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age thirty. Sent home sick from Corinth Ms. on May 15 1862.

John R. McIver  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age twenty-one. Killed in action, Battle of Shiloh, April 7 1862.

John W. Sawrie  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age eighteen. Eyes shot out at Battle of Shiloh, April 6 1862. Sent home totally blind. Brother in law of J.M. Collinsworth. Applied for Confederate Pension, # S943, Crockett County TN.

Phillip T. Scott  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age twenty-eight.

John Stephens  Deserted about May 29 1864 near Resaca Ga. Took Oath of Allegience at Chattanooga TN on May 30 1864. Height 5' 7", Complexion light, eyes blue, hair light.

Charles B. Stewart  Enlisted at Camp Fair, May 23 1861, at age twenty-four. Promoted to 2nd Lieutenant April 16 1862. Not re-elected at re-organization May 8 1862.  

D.W. Thompson  Enlisted at Camp Brown, May 29 1861, at age thirty-five. Discharged July 17 1861.
